As an only child with elderly parents (who still won't accept that they are, in fact, elderly), I often worry that I will have no idea what to do or how to take care of them should anything "happen". Also, being the "lawyer" in the family, everyone seem to think I know everything about everything legal and, thus, I end up as the executor of family members' estates. Too bad they don't realize that I'm a corporate lawyer with a high-tech focus - if only they wanted advice for their tech company that was going public, getting acquired, or pursing a strategic partnership or joint venture.
Anyway...back to the purpose of this post. I found another great blog! All dedicated to elder law in Massachusetts. Lots of great reference material and links to everything elder law.
So, as I go home to spend Christmas with the family, I now feel more prepared to deal with, and start planning for, the things that might "happen".
